If you've downloaded the v1.0 version of A Simple Re:Quest, it's highly recommended that you replace those files with the updated build. It turns out that a rather nasty bug managed to sneak through QA courtesy of Ren'Py's (usually helpful, but in this instance uniquely devious) persistence features—the primary impact of which precluded folks from being able to successfully play the game beyond its initial character creation screen.

A Simple Re:Quest was created for both Cozy Christmas Romance Jam and Winter Jam 2025! That being said: the current build of the game only progresses to the end of in-game December 20th. v1.01 of the game (which adds the remaining material) is slated for release by 5pm Pacific on Dec. 23rd!
